Morningside outscored Concordia in the final 10 minutes of play, but differentials of six and eight points in the second and third quarters ended up being too much for the visitors’ to overcome as they fell 74-62.

Morningside women’s basketball coach Jamie Sale celebrated his 600th win with the Mustangs on Saturday, guiding the team to a 75-57 victory over Kansas Wesleyan.

Sam Ehlers led the Mustangs (1-1) with 15 points, as she came off the bench.

The Mustangs made 32 out of 62 shots, including 10 3-pointers, in the victory over Grand View.
