KANSAS CITY, MO. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced its Daktronics Scholar-Athletes for dance, releasing this year's list alongside the other winter sports.
ORANGE CITY, IOWA – The Mustangs posted a pair of 82 point plus scores this weekend as the dance team competed in both days of the the Northwestern College Invitational. Morningside placed fourth in both days of competition, landing above the halfway mark of the nine-team field.
SEWARD, NEB. – Morningside’s day at Concordia pitted it against some of the nation’s top teams, as Oklahoma City and Viterbo were the Mustangs’ pairings. Morningside took second in both duals, posting an 83.8 in its first performance and the highest score of its season, an 84.85, against Viterbo.
YORK, NEB. – The Mustang Dance Team competed at York College’s Crown Classic to open a busy weekend, placing fifth in a field of 16 teams.
DES MOINES, IOWA – Morningside Dance made its National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics season debut, posting a pair of 80-point-plus performances to sit no. 3 in the NAIA season standings.
SIOUX CITY – The Morningside University dance team on Tuesday was voted second in the Great Plains Athletic Conference coaches poll. Morningside received one first-place vote and 41 points in the poll
