STORM LAKE, Iowa – In the final dual before the conference duals Saturday, Morningside women’s wrestling went on the road to Storm Lake and defeated Buena Vista 25-20 Wednesday evening.
HASTINGS, Neb. – The Morningside women’s wrestling team resumed its inaugural season Sunday by traveling to Hastings for the Bronco Women’s Open.
KANSAS CITY, MO. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced its second women’s wrestling coaches’ poll for the season earlier today, with Morningside’s first-year program catching the eye of the national raters, receiving votes for the first time ever.
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – A season of firsts for the Morningside women’s wrestling team continued this afternoon as the Mustangs squared off with Augsburg University and the University of Sioux Falls, with the Augsburg dual marking Morningside’s first dual in program history. Less than an hour later Mside had recorded another first, collecting the first dual win in program history, 24-13.
