SEWARD, NEB. – Second place finishes for Leighton Olesen and Kadyn Cline led a strong day for Morningside at the 2024 Bulldog Early Bird Meet, hosted by Concordia University.
SEWARD, NEB. – Morningside’s mid-distance squad four top-10 finishes at this weekend’s Bulldog Early Bird Meet, with only one event, the 3,000-meter run, having a higher Mustang finish as Courtney Sporrer set a new meet record with London Rogge coming in in fourth.
SIOUX CITY, IOWA – A 21-8 second quarter gave Morningside’s women’s basketball team the separation it needed to cruise to a 72-50 Great Plains Athletic Conference victory over Mount Marty today, advancing the Mustangs to 7-5 and 5-3 in the conference.
The 14th-ranked Mustangs (10-2, 6-2 GPAC) made 35 of 57 shots overall in the win, and hit 18 3-pointers in a 91-63 win over Mount Marty.
DES MOINES, Iowa – The Morningside University football team came up short of a national title bid on Saturday, as second-ranked Grand View defeated the Mustangs 36-13 at Mediacom Stadium.
SIOUX CITY, IOWA – The Mustangs followed up an 11th place finish in traditional play at the Mustang Invite with a fourth place finish in baker play, tallying 4,665 pins in the weekend’s second stanza.
