SIOUX CENTER, Iowa – With second place in the GPAC and a first round bye in the conference tournament on the line, Morningside made the short trip to Dordt to face the Defenders Saturday. Dordt prevailed in four sets, with each of the four sets ending 25-21.
JAMESTOWN, N.D. – In a battle of the top two teams in the GPAC entering play Thursday, the No. 9 Jamestown Jimmies earned a sweep of Morningside in Jamestown.
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Mustangs picked up a conference sweep in Kansas over the weekend, and Isaiah Baynes earned GPAC Defender of the Week honors for his performance in those two matches.
MCPHERSON, KAN. – The Mustangs made quick work of the Central Christian Tigers in Great Plains Athletic Conference men’s volleyball action tonight, winning 25-14, 25-12, and 25-8.
CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA – Morningside Men’s Volleyball split a pair of contests at Mount Mercy, defeating Graceland 3-1 in the neutral site game before falling to the hosts 3-0.
OTTAWA, KAN. – Morningside kept itself in the second-place race in the Great Plains Athletic Conference, picking up a league win over Ottawa, 3-0, with six games remaining on the calendar.
