GREENWOOD, IND. – College Sports Communicators announced its At-Large Academic All-District Teams for 2023, including five Morningsiders. All-district honorees will move ahead for consideration for the At-Large CSC Academic All-America Teams.
KANSAS CITY, MO. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced its Daktronics Scholar-Athletes for competitive cheer today, with the honorees being announced ahead of the national championships in Ypsilanti, Mich.
SIOUX CITY, IOWA – The Great Plains Athletic Conference announced its all-conference honorees for cheer, following tryouts at the sport’s championship on Saturday at Crete, Neb. Morningside’s Sage Sheppard was selected as an all-conference athlete for the third time in her collegiate career.
SIOUX CENTER, IOWA – Morningside Cheer competed in the Dordt Cheer and Dance Invitational this weekend placing fourth with a final score of 73.47 points.
SEWARD, NEB. – Morningside’s competitive cheer team competed in a pair of duals at Concordia University this weekend, losing to a Dickinson State team that posted one of the top scores of the competition before claiming a solid victory over a small York College team.
SEWARD, NEB. – Competitive cheer kicked off its season today as Morningside traveled to Concordia University. The Mustangs, delayed a day by the weather, started the season on a high note, beating the Bulldogs in the dual, 83.1-77.2.
