Keyera Harmon scored in the 80th second of the final half that was the go-ahead goal in a 2-0 victory Wednesday night over the Tigers at Elwood Olsen Stadium.
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Despite scoring twice in a 57-second span on Saturday, the Morningside University women’s soccer team lost to Jamestown 5-2 at Elwood Olsen Stadium.
The Mustangs took 29 shots on the Warriors, while holding the home team to two.
Morningside outshot the Lancers 33-3 on Saturday, including holding them to just one shot in the final 45 minutes.
Keyera Harmon and Melissa Tsatiris each scored twice in the win, and both strikers found the back of the net in both halves.
Tuva Hammarlund scored her fourth goal of the season at the 4-minute, 3-second mark. That goal was assisted by Keyera Harmon.
