The sports information office is responsible for coordinating video streaming, photography, statistics, broadcast coverage, event recaps, social media efforts, and website content for the Morningside University Athletic Department.

Morningside requires that all individuals requiring access beyond that of a typical spectator be credentialed through the sports information office. Credentials are required for all varsity contests and are granted to working media, including the competing sports information offices and their designees. Credentialed media are expected to operate in accordance with Morningside's media policy.
