MARSHALL, MINN. – The Mustangs found themselves among a field of regional National Collegiate Athletic Association powers this weekend, as they competed in Southwest Minnesota State University’s Mustang Invite. Morningside placed sixth in the field, trailing only NCAA DII teams in the standings as they finished with a score of 615.
ORANGE CITY, IOWA – Morningside’s women took second place in the Siouxland Women’s Fall Invite, hosted by Dordt University, placing just five strokes behind the field leader Doane, with 625 strokes after two rounds of play.
KANSAS CITY, MO. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics celebrated its annual National Awards Day today, announcing national awards recipients, the next hall of fame class, and the scholar teams for the 2023-24 academic year.
YANKTON, S.D. – Lucy Brown was Morningside’s top finisher in this week’s Mount Marty Invite, leading the Mustangs to a third place team finish. Brown’s two-round total of 154 strokes was just three behind the leader, good for fourth place individually.
KANSAS CITY, MO. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics released its 2024-25 Women’s Golf Preseason Ratings today, naming Morningside to the no. 25 spot.
CORAL SPRINGS, FLA. – The Women’s Golf Coaches Association announced its All-American Scholars for the 2023-24 season earlier this month, naming Lucy Brown, Aidan Sander, and Alysen Sander to its honors list.
