Morningside Takes Sixth in Division II-heavy Field

MARSHALL, MINN. – The Mustangs found themselves among a field of regional National Collegiate Athletic Association powers this weekend, as they competed in Southwest Minnesota State University's Mustang Invite. Morningside placed sixth in the field, trailing only NCAA DII teams in the standings as they finished with a score of 615.

Lucy Brown led the Mustangs, tying for sixt as she went a combined six over in two rounds. Alysen Sander tied for 17th at nine over, and Aidan Sander tied for 21st at +10.

Morningside is back on the course on Wednesday and Thursday, competing in Briar Cliff's Lila Frommelt Invitational.
