LAWRENCE, KAN. – The Mustang women found a spot on the podium in both of this weekend’s single-day Tier 2 events, competing among a field that offers a preview of some of the teams they’ll see in the coming weeks. Morningside placed third in the weekend opener before one-upping itself and taking the second place spot in Sunday’s tournament.
LAS VEGAS, NEV. – Morningside’s four-day streak of competition in Las Vegas came to a close as the Mustang women competed in their second Tier I tournament of the trip, the 2023 Collegiate Shootout. Finishing with a team total of 7,949 pins, they ranked no. 14 of the 33 teams in the event, led individually by Emaly Kruse.
LAS VEGAS, NEV. – Morningside finished no. 11 in a field of 32 teams as it opened its annual Las Vegas trip at the Glenn Carlson Invitational, rolling an 8,158 in the 2023 edition of the Tier I tournament.
SIOUX CITY, IOWA – The atmosphere was abuzz as Morningside took over Sioux City’s bowling centers for the annual Mustang Invite. The Mustangs took second place in their home women’s bowling event, totaling 6955 pins, with freshman Emaly Kruse leading the team with 918 pins.
MOLINE, ILL. – Morningside’s women’s bowling team continues to find success on the lanes, as the Mustangs, lead by an Emaly Kruse fourth-place finish, placed no. 13 in the 33-team field at the Leatherneck Classic.
HASTINGS, NEB. – Fresh off of a runner-up finish in bracket play at the Jayhawk Collegiate Challenge, the Mustangs upped the ante at this week’s Bronco Open, taking the top spot in bracket play for the third year in a row, with freshman Emaly Kruse taking the top spot individually.
