Mustangs Make Debut at Midwest Collegiate Championships

MILWAUKEE, WISC. – Morningside's women's bowling team made its debut this weekend at the Midwest Collegiate Championships. The Mustangs totaled 7,301 pins, placing 18th out of 42 teams in the tier I tournament.

Emaly Kruse was Morningside's leading scorer in the field, placing 30th with 979 total pins, for an average of 198.5 per game. Alexa Munhofen followed Kruse in 39th with 962 pins and Samantha Schiefen was 62nd with 914 pins.

The Mustangs return to the stable until October 19 and 20, when they compete in the Mid-States Championships in Wichita, Kan.
