Mustangs top baker standings, Ewertz named to all-tournament team

SIOUX CITY, IOWA – Morningside's women's bowling team emerged as the top team at the conclusion of baker play in Sunday's Mustang Invite, rolling a total of 4,399 pins. The Mustangs were in the middle of the pack in Saturday's day one of competition, with 3,991 pins.

Maren Ewertz led Morningside in Saturday's individual play, landing on the all-tournament team with 864 total pins and a fifth place finish. Alexa Munhofen followed with 820.

The Mustangs head to Las Vegas next week, competing in tournaments December 18-21.
