Mustangs go 1-2 on second day of national championship

STERLING HEIGHTS, MICH. –  The Mustangs' season came to a close at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Women's Bowling National Championship today, as fourth-seeded William Penn sent Morningside to the consolation bracket, where a win over Culver-Stockton matched the Mustangs up with top seed SCAD Savannah.

William Penn's 4-1 win matched the Mustangs up with Culver-Stockton, who Morningside beat 4-1, with scores of 157-191, 214-144, 167-162, 186-149, and 255-192. 

The Mustangs and defending national champion Bees exchanged blows in their match, trading wins in the 4-3 match, with SCAD taking the match 191-152, 174-175, 229-115, 212-221, 214-183, 200-243, and 189-178.
