SIOUX CITY, IOWA – Lucy Brown has been named the Great Plains Athletic Conference player of the week for the third time this season, winning the award for the second time since the season resumed this spring.

Brown was the individual medalist at last week's Peru State Spring Invite, coming in five strokes below the nearest competitor. 

Morningside won the event, despite the unfavorable weather conditions, by 20 strokes.
