Cheer takes championship at Dordt Invite

SIOUX CENTER, IOWA – The Mustangs took the top spot at this year's Dordt Cheer Invite, hitting a zero-deduction routine as they posted an 82.7.

The win represents the second time this season that Morningside has put down a clear routine.

The victory comes over perennial powerhouse Midland, who was 1.7 points behind Morningside.

The Mustangs are back on the mat for the Great Plains Athletic Conference Championships March 7 and 8 at Concordia.
