NWCA releases women's Scholar All-America list

MANHEIM, PA. – The National Wrestling Coaches Association released its list of NAIA Women's Scholar All-American athletes last week, recognizing Nevaeh Hast for her efforts in the classroom and on the mat.

"The NWCA is proud to recognize these outstanding individuals who embody excellence in both athletics and academics," said NWCA Executive Director Mike Moyer.

Honorees qualify for this award by being among the top eight finishers at the NAIA championships with a 3.0 cumulative GPA, by qualifying for the national tournament and maintaining a 3.25 GPA, or by participating in a conference tournament with a GPA of 3.5 or better and must have wrestled in at least 5 competitions, as listed in TrackWrestling.
