Morningside wins dual at Buena Vista 25-20

STORM LAKE, Iowa – In the final dual before the conference duals Saturday, Morningside women's wrestling went on the road to Storm Lake and defeated Buena Vista 25-20 Wednesday evening.

The first five weight classes featured forfeits, including a double forfeit at 101-pounds. In the first contested match of the evening, Brooklin Kuester earned five points on a fall in 1:13.

Buena Vista tied the match with a fall in the next match, but Josie Biffar picked up the first win of her career at Morningside with a fall in 2:12. 

In the final match of the evening and things tied at 20, Nevaeh Hast picked up her first victory by fall in 2:36 to seal the win for the Mustangs. 

Morningside now heads to the KCAC Duals this weekend in York, Nebraska.
