Dance Takes Fourth at GPAC Championship

ORANGE CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference hosted its 2026 Dance Championship at Northwestern today, pitting the league’s nine teams against each other for an automatic pass to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Dance National Championship. The conference also unveiled its 2026 all-conference selections, placing Emma Anderson, Cali Cooper, and Hannah Dillehay on its first and second all-conference teams.

Morningside, who joined the field as an at-large selection this year, finished ninth in the field, which consisted of the top 12 programs in the country.

SEWARD, NEB. – Morningside’s day at Concordia pitted it against some of the nation’s top teams, as Oklahoma City and Viterbo were the Mustangs’ pairings. Morningside took second in both duals, posting an 83.8 in its first performance and the highest score of its season, an 84.85, against Viterbo.
