Mustangs finish second at Dordt

SIOUX CENTER, IOWA – The Mustangs improved upon disappointing performances last weekend at Concordia with a second-place finish in Dordt University's Cheer and Dance Invitational. Morningside's dance team scored 84.93 points in the event.

The top three competitors in the event, Viterbo, Morningside, and Concordia, were all separated by less than two points, with the Mustangs less than one point out of the top spot.

Morningside will continue to tune its performance for Friday's Great Plains Athletic Conference Dance Championship, held at Doane University in Crete, Neb.
