Mustangs post highest score of the season at Concordia

SEWARD, NEB. – Morningside's day at Concordia pitted it against some of the nation's top teams, as Oklahoma City and Viterbo were the Mustangs' pairings. Morningside took second in both duals, posting an 83.8 in its first performance and the highest score of its season, an 84.85, against Viterbo.

The Mustangs had just one deduction, a minor fall, against Oklahoma City, who ended up taking third in the day's combined totals.

Viterbo, the event's top team, posted the day's highest total as they went head-to-head with the Mustangs, a 91.05. Morningside threw down a flawless routine, receiving zero deductions in the day's second round.

The Mustangs' next opportunity to strengthen its season resume comes at Northwestern on February 14 and 15.
