Mustangs open season at Concordia

SEWARD, NEB. – Morningside's dance team opened its National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics competitive season this evening, competing at Concordia University of Nebraska. The Mustangs fell in the dual, with Concordia scoring 85.9 points and Morningside scoring 75.25.

The Mustangs, who were picked to repeat as Great Plains Athletic Conference champions in the inaugural GPAC Preseason Dance Poll, find themselves in a transitional period, having seen coaching staff and personnel changes since last year's national championship team.

Morningside returns to Seward, Neb. for its next competition, the Concordia Invitational, on Saturday, February 11.
