
Five Mustangs earn CSC Academic All-District honors for at-large grouping
GREENWOOD, IND. – College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its women's Academic All-District team for at-large sport grouping, placing five Mustangs on the list. The CSC at-large grouping includes women's beach volleyball, bowling, golf, lacrosse, and wrestling, and co-ed sports competitive cheer and competitive dance.
Morningside is represented on the list by Bess Telfer and Callie Stephens from dance and Morgan Roark, Samantha Schiefen, and Rachel Spier from bowling. Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, with the All-America teams announced on July 16.
The CSC Academic All-American program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for a combination of success in competition and in the classroom, requiring that nominees maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better and meet specific playing requirements that are outlined on a sport-by-sport basis.
