SIOUX CITY, IOWA – A trio of Morningsiders received women's basketball all-conference honors, the Great Plains Athletic Conference revealed today, naming Alexis Spier and Lily Vollertsen to the second team and giving Ella Wragge an honorable mention nod.

Vollertsen, from Syracuse, Neb., led Morningside in scoring this season, averaging 15.3 points per game while shooting 49 percent from the floor. The junior post also averaged a team-high 6.9 rebounds per game.

Spier, who is a senior from Gretna, Neb., averaged 2.6 assists per game to rank third among the Mustangs' ranks, while grabbing 5.8 boards per game and netting 14.0 points per game at a 42.4 percent rate. 

Wragge's nod follows a 6.6 points per game season, in which she grabbed 3.9 rebounds per game and averaged .9 assists per game.
