
10 Mustangs named women's basketball Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes
KANSAS CITY, MO. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced its Daktronics Scholar-Athletes for women's basketball, releasing this year's list alongside the other winter sports.
Morningside had 10 athletes named to this year's women's basketball list, Alexis Spier, Baylie Girres, Danielle Peterson, Ella Wragge, Jaeden Webb, Jordyn Carr, Kidney Hall, Samantha Michaelsen, Tenley Rasmussen, and Tonja Heirigs.
In order to qualify for the NAIA scholar-athlete program, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5, appear on a sport's eligibility certificate, and have attended one full year at the current institution.
