GREENWOOD, IND. – Four Morningside women’s volleyball players landed on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, the CSC announced this afternoon. Sydney Marlow, Barbora Kozouskova, Nienke van Drunen, and Claire Wilson represented the Mustangs on the team.

LEXINGTON, KY. – For the second time in her career, Sydney Marlow has earned the honorable mention All-Region distinction for the West Central Region from the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

KANSAS CITY, MO. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced its Daktronics Scholar-Athletes for women’s volleyball, releasing this year's list ahead alongside the other fall sports.

LA CROSSE, WIS. – Morningside Women’s Volleyball’s fought valiantly at no. 15 Viterbo, today, taking the opening set and fighting until the end as they fell 3-1 to the V-Hawks in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Women’s Volleyball National Championship Opening Round.

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Five Morningside University women’s volleyball student-athletes were named on Tuesday to the Great Plains Athletic Conference All-Conference teams.

With the berth, their first-round match will be at 2 p.m. Saturday against No. 15 Viterbo in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Viterbo will stream the match on its web site.

KANSAS CITY, MO. The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics released its latest coaches’ polls for men’s and womens’ basketball and its final coaches’ rating for women’s volleyball today, placing Morningside in the receiving votes category in all three sports.

Claire Wilson – along with fellow senior Sydney Marlow – led the Mustangs with 15 kills.

Dalach had a season-high 51 assists in the four-set victory over the Tigers on Saturday.

The Mustangs hit .369 in the match, and collected 50 kills in the win.

After dropping the first set, Morningside (21-9, 9-6 GPAC) won the following three to beat the Tigers by set scores of 22-25, 25-20, 25-17, and 25-22.

The Morningside University volleyball team wrapped up a season sweep over Briar Cliff on Wednesday at Allee Gym with decisive set scores of 25-19, 25-13, and 25-15.

A very successful second set on Wednesday helped the Morningside University women’s volleyball team sweep Dordt and reach a milestone.

The Mustangs swept Doane 25-19, 25-18, 25-13 at Rosen Verdoorn Sports Center. Sydney Marlow led the Mustangs with 12 kills, and she had two assisted blocks.

Payten Lode led the Mustangs with 12 kills, followed by Sydney Marlow with 11, and Wilson with nine.

The Mustangs won the first set 25-20, but then lost the other three by set scores of 19-25, 20-25, 15-25.
