
Marlow among five Mustangs GPAC All-Conference honorees
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Five Morningside University women's volleyball student-athletes were named on Tuesday to the Great Plains Athletic Conference All-Conference teams.
The five ladies were: Sydney Marlow (first team outside hitter), Aleksandra Dalach (second team setter), Claire Wilson (second team right side), Nienke van Drunen (honorable mention) and Payten Lode (honorable mention).
Marlow led the Mustangs with 377 kills as a senior. She was also second in digs with 335.
Dalach had a team-high 736 assists. As a sophomore, she was also second in service aces with 31.
Wilson was the Mustangs' No. 2 hitter with 359 kills, and she also earned her 1,000th earlier this year at Briar Cliff.
During her senior season, van Drunen had a hitting percentage of .340 with 123 kills and 71 total blocks.
Lode, a junior from Sheldon, Iowa, earned 128 kills, 134 digs and 14 total blocks.
