LAWRENCE, KAN. – It was a busy weekend in Kansas as the Mustangs competed in a pair of Tier 2 competitions as the regular season nears its close. As the long weekend came to a close for Morningside’s men, they added a 15th place and 17th place finish to their season’s results.

LAS VEGAS, NEV. – The Mustangs hit the lanes again to compete in their second Tier I tournament of this year’s Las Vegas trip, the 2023 Collegiate Shootout. With a team total of 8,023 pins, Morningside’s men finished the event ranked no. 40 of the 48 teams in attendance.

LAS VEGAS, NEV. – The Mustangs cracked the top-40 of the men’s division at this week’s Glenn Carlson Las Vegas Invitational, rolling a 7,258 in the 2023 edition of the Tier I tournament.

SIOUX CITY, IOWA – Morningside’s men’s bowling team got a break from weekends on the road as they hosted the Mustang Invite last weekend, taking over Sioux City’s bowling centers for the two-day event. The men finished the tournament in sixth place with 7,151 total pins, with Nick Philthilath ranking no. 10 overall to lead the Mustangs individually.

DAVENPORT, IOWA – The Mustang men’s bowling team finished no. 35 at this year’s Leatherneck Classic, totaling 6,936 pins on the way.

HASTINGS, NEB. – Morningside’s men’s bowling team had another tough start in last weekend’s Bronco Open, where it placed no. 7 of 11 teams. The Mustangs posted a total pin count of 8,342, collecting 2,970 in Baker games and 5,372 in individual play.

LAWRENCE, KAN. – The Mustangs found themselves in the back half of a highly-competitive field at last week’s Jayhawk Collegiate Challenge, placing 12th in the 16 team field, with a pin total of 7,047.

WAUWASOTA, WISC. – Morningside men’s bowling hit the lanes for the first time this season at the beginning of the month, competing in the Midwest Collegiate Championships on October 7 and 8 at Wauwasota’s Bowlero Bowl. The Mustangs placed 27th in the 48 team field, totaling 8,635 pins following the completion of individual play and Baker games.
