Mustangs place in middle of Tier 2 pack

LAWRENCE, KAN. – The Mustangs found themselves in the back half of a highly-competitive field at last week's Jayhawk Collegiate Challenge, placing 12th in the 16 team field, with a pin total of 7,047.

Seth Nelson was Morningside's leader, placing no. 36 with 921 pins in five games for an average of 184.2 pins per game. Alex Badger was close behind, placing no. 42, with 907 total pins. Brenden Lewis was third for the Mustangs with 825 pins for an average of 165 pins per game.

The Mustangs were back in action this weekend, competing in the Hastings College Bronco Classic. Check msidemustangs.com for more when results become available.
