
Morningside competes at Bronco Open
HASTINGS, NEB. – Morningside’s men’s bowling team had another tough start in last weekend’s Bronco Open, where it placed no. 7 of 11 teams. The Mustangs posted a total pin count of 8,342, collecting 2,970 in Baker games and 5,372 in individual play.

Brenden Lewis was Morningside's top bowler, coming in at no. 12 with 1,187 pins in six games. Alex Badger was next, at no. 30 with 1,088 pins, and Nick Philthilath and Seth Nelson were close behind with 1,079 each.
Christian Schmadeke and Marco Salcedo, playing on Morningside's JV squad, sat no. 48 and no. 49 with 986 and 977 pins, respectively.
The Mustangs are back in action this weekend, competing in the Leatherneck Classic in Davenport, Iowa.
