HASTINGS, NEB. – A strong showing from Nick Philthilath headlined Morningside’s visit to Hastings College and the Bronco Open, as the senior took the individual title in the event and led the Mustangs to a fifth place finish.
Koerber was the keeper in the 2-1 win over Dakota Wesleyan, which clinched the GPAC regular-season title for the Mustangs.
Colton Dreith received the GPAC Defensive Player of the Week, while Trevor Paulsen was the Special Teams Player of the Week.
WICHITA, KAN. – The Mustangs saw some strong competition this weekend as they competed in the Falcon Open.
INDIANOLA, IOWA – Morningside’s women’s wrestling team made its debut at the Luther Hill Open at Simpson College this weekend. It was a group of familiar faces that took the mat this year, as the second-year program fielded a quintet of returning sophomores.
SIOUX CITY, IOWA – Morningside’s women’s soccer team will advance to the Great Plains Athletic Conference postseason tournament semifinal round, courtesy of a pair of second-half goals in a shutout win over crosstown rival, Briar Cliff.
