Seven runners named to women's cross country scholar-athlete list
KANSAS CITY, MO. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced its Daktronics Scholar-Athletes for women's cross country, releasing this year's list ahead alongside the other fall sports.
Morningside had seven athletes named to this year's list, Nicole Zuehl, Ella Stapek, Courtney Sporrer, Gabby Ryan, Sarah Perez, Paige Padavich, and Jolee Mesz.
In order to qualify for the NAIA scholar-athlete program, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5, appear on a sport's eligibility certificate, and have attended one full year at the current institution.
