Stolen receives top marks from CoSIDA Academic All-American program

Morningside University senior softball student-athlete Lexie Stolen (Sioux City, Iowa) was named first-team CoSIDA (Collegiate Sports Information Directors of America) National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics' Academic All-American with the team release Monday, July 26.

The honor marked the third time since 2016 and the first time since 2017 that head coach Jessica Jones-Sitzmann's program received such an accolade.

Stolen, an elementary education major with a 3.87 grade-point average, was one of two Great Plains Athletic Conference student-athletes noted. Midland University catcher Katlin Anders was also a first-team awardee.
