Youth Skills Camp

Join the Morningside softball players and coaches for a high-energy winter camp focused on building strong offensive and defensive fundamentals. Our goal is to create a fun, encouraging atmosphere where learning comes naturally and campers can show off their competitive side. Athletes will leave with new skills, practical drills, and the confidence to continue developing their game long after camp ends.
Campers will receive a Morningside Softball t-shirt.
High School/Prospect Camp
- Sunday January 25th, 2026 at the Hindman Hobbs Center on Morningside’s campus
- Check In: 10:45 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Camp: 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
- Grades 8-12
- $60 (plus processing fees)
Experience what it’s like to train as a Mustang softball player during our high school and prospect-level camp. Participants will step into a true day-in-the-life practice, interacting directly with Morningside players and coaches throughout fast-paced, competitive drills. The camp will cover key offensive skills—including baserunning, hitting, and bunting—along with defensive fundamentals and position-specific instruction. Athletes will leave with a clear picture of the Mustang standard and the tools to elevate their game to the next level.
Campers will receive a Morningside Softball t-shirt.
Pitcher/Catcher Camp
- Sunday January 11th, 2026 at the Hindman Hobbs Center on Morningside’s campus
- Grades 2nd – 6th

- Camp: 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
- Grades 7th – 12th

- Check In: 12:45 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
- Camp: 1:00 p.m.- 2:30 p.m.
- $60 (plus processing fees)
Campers will work directly with Morningside’s highly experienced pitching and catching staffs, along with our dedicated pitching coaches, for focused instruction on the game’s most demanding positions. Our goal is to meet each athlete where they are, helping them develop their current skill set while providing tools to grow both in the circle and behind the plate.
Pitchers do not need to bring their own catcher.
Catchers are required to bring their own full catching gear
Campers will receive a Morningside Softball t-shirt.
