Sporrer Earns Season's First GPAC Runner of the Week Honor

SIOUX CITY, IOWA – The Great Plains Athletic Conference revealed its first Cross Country Runners of the week, naming Morningside's Courtney Sporrer to the post.

Sporrer, a junior from Logan, Iowa was the top GPAC and NAIA finisher at the Augustana Twilight meet. She ran a personal best in the 5K race, crossing the line in 17:55.6.

Sporrer and the Mustangs are back on the trail on Saturday, running in the Dordt University Sunflower Open, running on the Dordt campus in Sioux Center.
