Mustangs 4x800 team competes at Drake Relays

DES MOINES, Iowa – The Morningside women's 4x800-meter relay team competed at the Drake Relays Thursday afternoon in Des Moines, Iowa. 

The Mustangs placed seventh as the team of Courtney Sporrer, Emily Chicoine, Jolee Mesz and Michelle Sanchez ran a time of 9:24.2. That was the third best time from an NAIA school at the meet, and second out of GPAC schools.

The Mustangs' next event is the GPAC Outdoor Championships in Orange City, Iowa May 3-4.
