ITA names Jensen to national honor

TEMPE, ARIZ. – Line Jensen has been named the 2025 ITA NAIA Women's Most Improved Player, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced today in its national awards release.

Jensen's honor came after compiling a 29-7 singles record and a 26-5 doubles record, according to the ITA's statistics. She was the singles champion in the central region tournament this fall, advancing to the ITA Cup tournament in Rome, Ga. She also received all-conference honors in both singles and doubles play. 

In the latest ITA Singles Rankings, Jensen, a sophomore from Humlebaek, Denmark, was ranked as the No. 13 player and was the No. 47 ranked doubles team with partner Brooke Marshall.

Jensen holds Morningside records for career singles victories, season singles, doubles, and combined victories, and career and season doubles team victories with Marshall.

The ITA is the governing body of college tennis, overseeing men's and women's varsity tennis at all levels – NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA and Junior/Community College.
