
Women's Swimming competes in Roger Ahlman Invitational
SAINT PAUL, MINN. – Morningside's women's swimming was back in the pool in Minnesota, as the Mustangs competed in the Roger Ahlman Invitational, hosted by Macalester College.
Opening session one, Mustang Lexi Carey had a sixth place finish in the 1650-yard freestyle, with a time of 18:33.43.
To conclude day one, session one, Haley Snawerdt, Carey, Grace Holzerland, and Josie Dike paired together for a fifth place finish in the 800-yard freestyle relay in 8:25.66.
Morningside top-ten finishes of session two and three included the following:

Holzerland placed eighth in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:12.57.

Alice Mahoney placed sixth in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:11.87, and fifth place in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:35.69.

Mahoney, Holzerland, Alexis Creary, and Olivia Ramaeker took the tenth place spot in the 200-yard medley relay in 2:01.50.

Dike, Creary, Ramaeker, and Mahoney placed tenth in the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:47.82.

Dike, Snawerdt, Mahoney, and Holzerland took fifth place in the 400-yard freestyle relay in 3:48.73.
Morningside is back in its home pool for competition in January for the Minnesota-Morris Meet at the Hindman-Hobbs Center.
