SIOUX CITY, IOWA – Morningside's women's soccer team braved the wind and rain as they took on crosstown rival Briar Cliff on unfriendly turf. The Mustangs fell to BCU at Faber Field, 3-0.
While the Mustangs were shut out in the contest, Keyera Harmon did manage to connect for two shots on goal and Julie Raffel for one.
Time in goal was split between Megan Messersmith, who recorded three saves, but allowed the three Charger scores, and Isabel Ter Weeme, who recorded four saves.
The Mustangs move to 6-6-1 and 3-4-1 in the conference as they prepare for a Saturday contest against Midland University.
