SIOUX CITY, IOWA – Morningside women's soccer extended its unbeaten streak earlier this week, collecting a huge Great Plains Athletic Conference win against the Concordia Bulldogs. The Mustangs came from behind to beat the Bulldogs, 2-1, marking five games since Morningside recorded a loss.

The Mustangs recorded their first score of the contest in the 67th minute, when Sina Feeser took a shot from the top of the 18 yard box, clipping the keeper and skidding into the net. The score came 10 minutes after their opponents netted the first goal of the game.

Following the equalizer, Morningside was back on its game, scoring 12 minutes later when Mia Stoffel found the rebout of a corner kick and knocked the game winner into the net.

Megan Messersmith recorded six saves, allowing just the one goal to get by.

Morningside is back in action on Saturday, traveling to Dordt University.
