Senior netminder receives weekly conference award

Morningside University senior women's soccer goalkeeper Sarah Finn (Tampa., Fla.) picked up a weekly honor from the Great Plains Athletic Conference Tuesday, Nov. 2.

Finn was tabbed Defensive Player of the Week. She had two straight clean sheets as Morningside increased its current run of scoreless minutes to more than 440, heading into GPAC tournament play. Finn tallied her fourth and fifth shutouts of season in victories over the College of Saint Mary and Dakota Wesleyan University and upped a current string of two-or-more saves matches to 12.
