Freshman trio named WGCA All-American Scholars
CORAL SPRINGS, FLA. – The Women's Golf Coaches Association announced its All-American Scholars for the 2023-24 season earlier this month, naming Lucy Brown, Aidan Sander, and Alysen Sander to its honors list.
In order for a student-athlete to be named an All-American Scholar by the WGCA, the player must maintain a 3.50 GPA or better, play as an amateur and remain on the team's roster through the conclusion of the season, and play in at least 50 percent of the team's regularly scheduled matches through the team's conference championship.
For 2023-24, the WGCA named 1,530 athletes representing 419 programs at all levels to the All-American Scholar list.
