
Mustangs place eighth at Wildcat Classic
WAYNE, Neb. – The Mustangs were the top GPAC school at the Wildcat Classic Monday in Wayne, Nebraska.
Morningside placed eighth in the 36 holes tournament at 86-over par. Six of the seven teams that finished ahead of the Mustangs are NCAA Division II teams. The Mustangs placed one spot ahead of Concordia and three ahead of Briar Cliff.
Individually, Sofia Castelan finished as the top Mustang in a tie for 18th at 16-over. Cameron Spellman tied for 20th at 17-over. Alysen Sander finished at 23-over and Lucy Brown at 30-over.
The Mustangs are back in action at the GPAC Championship in Spencer, Iowa Monday and Tuesday.
