SIOUX CITY, IOWA – A 22-4 first quarter was the difference maker for Morningside women's basketball as it squared off with Doane's Tigers in Allee Gym. The Mustangs went on to win by a 78-63 margin, moving to 12-6 and 7-5 in the Great Plains Athletic Conference.

Morningside never trailed in the contest, with Olivia Larsen making the first basket after Doane controlled the opening tip.
