Hanson leads Morningside in field of NAIA powers

ASHLAND, NEB. – Garrett Hanson led the Mustangs individually as Morningside Men's Cross Country placed no. 20 overall in a field loaded with National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics powers.

Hanson finished no. 111, completing the 8k circuit in 26:54.5. RC Hicks followed at no. 138 in 27:14.2.

Parker Halder came third for the Mustangs, finishing in 27:49.2 with Eein McKinley right behind him in 27:49.8. Casey Kruger rounded out the top five for Morningside, crossing the line in 27:59.1.

The Mustangs return to the course on Nov. 4, competing in the Great Plains Athletic Conference championship meet at Adams Nature Preserve.
