Mustangs picked 8th in preseason poll

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Morningside men's cross country team was picked eighth in the preseason conference coaches poll. 

The Mustangs received 43 points in the poll. Dordt, Concordia, and Doane were the top three teams in the poll, and all three teams received at least one first place vote. Morningside placed ninth last season.

Morningside's first event of the 2023 season is the Augustana Twilight on Friday, Sept. 1.
