Men's cross country competes in Dordt Holiday Inn Classic

SIOUX CENTER, IOWA – The Mustangs ran in the 8K Dordt Holiday Inn Classic this weekend in men's cross country. Placing 12th as a team, Morningside attacked the course complete with tight bends and long hills, finishing with total time of 2:20:49.16.

Levi Son was the top finisher for Morningside, finishing 91st in 27:42.75. RC Hicks finished 10 places and about 14 seconds behind, crossing in 27:56.94. 

Jose Gutierrez, Nick Schiltz, and Casey Kruger rounded out the top five runners for Morningside, finishing the loop in 28:15.27, 28:19.31, and 28:34.89, respectively.

The Mustangs are back on the course on Saturday, Oct. 22, competing in the Mount Marty Invitational in Yankton, S.D.
