Mustang men run well in BCU Invite
NORTH SIOUX CITY, S.D. – The Mustangs had a strong performance across the board as they competed in the Briar Cliff Cross Country Invitational this weekend. Morningside's men finished sixth among the teams competing in the event.
Levi Son was the top finisher for the Mustangs, placing 28th and recording an 8K time of 27:46.87. RC Hicks was next for Morningside, crossing in 28:21.94 with Mason Welker on his heels at 28:23.47.
Casey Kruger was next in the Mustangs' black and white uniforms, at 29:03.30. Nick Schiltz crossed the line in 29:26.02, and Jose Gutierrez and Tyler Janssen rounded out the scoring for Morningside, finishing in 29:48.61 and 30:10.70, respectively.
The Mustangs are back on the course on Saturday, competing in the Dordt University Defender Classic in Sioux Center, Iowa.
