Christo, Vandyke named first team all-conference

SIOUX CITY, IOWA – The Great Plains Athletic Conference released the honors for its 2025 wrestling campaign, naming five Mustangs to the first team, second team, and honorable mention groupings.

Morningside placed two wrestlers on the GPAC's first team, with sophomore Blaine Christo, at 165 pounds, and senior Alex Vandyke, at 174 pounds, receiving the league's top honors following their titles at the GPAC Championships last weekend.

Jakob Jerabek, the GPAC runner-up at 285 pounds, received second team honors.

Caden Eggleston and Carson Turnis were both honorable mention recipients.
