
Morningside battles at Worthington Open
WORTHINGTON, Minn. – Morningside split up the team Saturday, sending a handful of guys to the Worthington Open in Worthington, Minnesota.
Chris Aragon made the consolation championship at the 149-pound weight class. Aragon lost his first match of the day, but earned falls in 1:57 and 1:48 to make the consolation championship, where he would lose.
At 125-pounds, Abel Flores earned a 3-2 decision in the consolation bracket for his lone win of the day. Blaine Christo earned a win by fall in 6:19 in the 157-pound class. Kaden Street earned a fall in 5:23 in the 174-pound class.
The Mustangs are at Dakota Wesleyan for a dual Wednesday.
